The general infrastructure and landscaping works of the Kuzeyşehir project in Şehitkamil district, Gaziantep—whose foundation was laid with the participation of Gaziantep Metropolitan Mayor Fatma Şahin—are being carried out by TOKİ (Housing Development Administration of Turkey). Kuzeyboru A.Ş. has been selected as the infrastructure supplier for the project.
As the supplier of this massive development, Kuzeyboru successfully completed the project with HDPE100 pipes of various diameters, fittings, and telecom pipes. The 50,000-home Kuzeyşehir project, initiated by Gaziantep Metropolitan Mayor Fatma Şahin and introduced by TOKİ President Ergün Turan and Minister of Finance Mehmet Şimşek, covers 8.5 million square meters and represents the construction of an entirely new city.
Highlighting the project’s green spaces, neighborhood layout, and housing, Mayor Fatma Şahin stated that they brought this new city to life in a very short time:
“Under the leadership of our President, we quickly transferred 5.5 million square meters of land to TOKİ. Within as little as six months, all infrastructure services were completed. This is a major success story.”
