Kuzeyboru to Invest in a 12.9 MWp Solar Power Plant in Harran

We have officially begun construction of our 12,901.98 kWp ground‑mounted Solar Power Plant (SPP) on a 200,000 m² site in Harran. Ground preparations, concreting, and steel‑structure fabrication are already underway for the facility, which will host 22,000 solar panels. Once these stages are complete, we will proceed with panel installation and construction of the electrical infrastructure.

On Track to Connect to the Grid This Autumn

Keeping the project on schedule, we plan to finish panel installation by late summer and complete grid‑connection procedures at the beginning of autumn. This will enable us to connect our plant to the grid in autumn 2025 and begin full‑capacity energy production.

Powering Our Production Plants with Our Sun

The electricity generated at the Harran SPP will meet a significant share of the energy needs of our factories in Aksaray and Malatya. By using our own clean energy, we aim to reduce our carbon emissions.

With this project, we are contributing to Turkey’s clean‑energy transition and taking another step toward our carbon‑neutral goal. We will continue to strengthen our future with the power of the sun.
